Black Friday is just a week away--which means that many of you are propably already prepping for it. It's the biggest shopping day of the year, a day when most Americans will make at least some if not most of their holiday purchases, a day when stores open early and products fly off the shelves.
To help you prepare for the pandemonium, we're sharing some deep, dark insider tips for #winning on Black Friday.
What are they? >>
So, what is the one thing you should never buy on Black Friday? According to online shopping expert Michelle Madhok, it's seasonal items like gloves, hats and holiday decor. Why? "They get marked down more as the season goes on," she explains.
That makes so much sense! So, what should you be buying? >>
"Aim for the big things like TV's," she explains. "70% off a TV is worth more than 70% off a pair of gloves." Don't waste time filling your cart with stocking stuffers--Black Friday is the time to knock out the expensive items on your list.
But there's more >>
Michelle also warns that you should do your research on those big tickets items. "Make sure you're getting what you're buying," she advises. "Sometimes stores sell electronics for big discounts on BF, but the item has less features than the more expensive item. They produce those just for BF."
Wow, who knew they did special run Black Friday electronics just to rip off the consumer? Definitely do your homework this year!
