Baja Fresh is one of the top Mexican food joints in the nation. Like many semi-fast-food choices out there nowadays, they go by a philosophy of using fresh ingredients that are also nutritious. But do they really stick to their word?

They do have many food options that are low-cal and okay to eat for lunch. But for a few of their menu items, looks can be deceiving.

It's the Charbroiled Steak Nachos! These bad boys have a total of 2,120 calories per serving. They're also the dish containing the most fat on the menu.

So, turn down those Charbroiled Steak Nachos! Healthier options on the Baja Fresh menu include The Original Baja Taco with shrimp, Grilled Mahi Mahi, and the Baja Ensalada Charbroiled Chicken.
