This means there's only one cheese option: provolone. An anonymous General Manager from Jimmy John's commented on Reddit, "It's all about speed. The cheese is the most surprising thing to me, because when I first started it shocked me there was only one...I'd love to have some more variety, even just one other choice."

A Jimmy John's employee also revealed on Reddit that everything at the sandwich joint is made fresh. They comment, "We don't have the variety of different breads, not too many different meats or veggies, but everything is fresh. I get it at 4:30 every morning to slice tomato, cucumber, lettuce, ect... Bread gets thrown out, or made day old, after 4 hours. And the meats are all fairly good quality, and we slice then daily."
