Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Energy Balls

What You'll Need: oatmeal, toasted unsweetened coconut flakes, peanut butter, ground flaxseed, honey, mini chocolate chips, vanilla extract

Full Recipe: Bless This Mess

These energy balls are easy to make and require no baking, so they're definitely a good option if you are running low on time. In fact, it should only take you around 5 minutes to make them--and they can last in your fridge for up to two weeks.

Plus, they are full of nutrients. Each serving (which amounts to 1 energy ball) is only 107 calories. However, these calories are not "empty" like most snacks--which is why you tend to keep going back for more. Instead, these calories come from whole grain oats, peanut butter (a healthy fat and good source of protein), and honey (a natural sweetener).

With that in mind, if you are having a difficult time sticking to healthy snacks, this recipe may be able to help keep you full and satisfied throughout the day.
