This vegan diet requires you eat foods high in carbs, as long as they are whole and plant-based, without oils or processing. You also need to limit your sugar intake on this diet. It works by satisfying the appetite and giving the body more energy to maintain a healthy weight.
The Starch Solution Diet is attractive to many people because you don’t have to cut out a lot of the foods that so many of us crave - pasta, bread, pizza, cakes. You just have to modify a few recipes to make sure you’re not eating any meat, dairy or eggs, and that you’re not using too much sugar.
