Have Your Phone Fully Charged
You probably keep your phone attached to your hip at all times, but it can be easily forgotten in the chaos of your wedding day. Charge it the night before so you have plenty of battery to take pictures with your buddies and send your soon-to-be wife cute texts. Bring a charger, too, just in case.
Get An Alarm Clock
You can't pick a worse day to oversleep than your wedding day. That's even worse than oversleeping for a major job interview—and probably not as forgivable, either. Set an early bedtime the night before and make you sure you have a reliable alarm to get you up in the morning. Try to get as much sleep as possible, and don't let pre-wedding jitters interfere.
Eat A Substantial Breakfast
Start your wedding day on the right foot with a solid breakfast. The night before, make sure your house or apartment is stocked with filling breakfast foods, like waffles or bacon (or both). You need to chow down first thing in the morning to have energy throughout the day. With such a jam-packed schedule, you won't know when your next meal might be.
Don't Forget The Rings!
You CANNOT forget the rings. Of all things to remember the night before your wedding, this should be plastered at the top of the list. You need to be like Frodo Baggins and hold onto those rings like your life depends on it. Trust us—it would be very embarrassing to admit to a church full of friends and family that you forgot your own wedding rings.
Pack Your Suitcase For The Honeymoon
If you're leaving for your honeymoon right after the wedding, DO NOT put your packing off until the night before. You should start a few days in advance so you can use the night before to relax and officially zipper your suitcase closed.
Bring A Comb
You need to look picture perfect on your big day—you'll be taking thousands of frameworthy photos. It's crucial that your hair looks its best all day, so stick a mini comb into your pocket in case of a hair crisis.
Pack A Flask
Most grooms have a drink or two before the wedding with their groomsmen to soothe their nerves. But don't go overboard—avoid stumbling down the aisle at all costs. And re-brush your teeth or chew gum to cover the smell of alcohol on your breath. Your mother will probably smack you for smelling like whiskey on your wedding day.
Grab Your Present For Your Fiancée
This item's optional, but it's been a withstanding tradition for the bride and groom to exhange gifts on the wedding day or the night before. Obviously, marrying you is a gift to your wife already, but show her how much you appreciate her with a small special something. You'll make her day with a small piece of jewelry or even an old photo of the two of you framed.
Pack Some Snacks
You've got a long day ahead of you, betwen getting ready, photos, the ceremony itself, and family time. Breakfast might seem like ages ago, so stash a granola bar or two in your pocket with your comb and flask to avoid getting hangry. This might be your saving grace, especially if you pregamed the wedding.
