Blake Shelton is hitting the road again and his fans couldn’t be more excited! The “God’s Country” hitmaker, 46, just announced new dates for his ‘Back to the Honky Tonk Tour’ and will play 18 shows across the US next winter, as his commitments for The Voice with fellow judge and wife Gwen Stefani kept him busy and away from touring this fall.
The “Ol’ Red” singer will kick off his tour on February 16th in Lincoln, Nebraska at the Pinnacle Bank Arena and conclude his musical journey in Buffalo, New York at the KeyBank Center on March 25th. Shelton will notably play six straight weekends of concerts, and took to Instagram to announce the long-awaited news with his 5.6 million followers.

Along with a list of the concert dates, Shelton also revealed that there will be a second leg of his tour, and for now, his opening acts will be country singers Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean. In his caption, Shelton wrote, “Here we go! First round of the #BackToTheHonkyTonk Tour with @carlypearce and @thejacksondean is on sale NOW!!!” Naturally, fans headed to his comment section to share their delight in hearing that he is headed to their city.
“I got my tickets for Buffalo! I cannot wait!!” wrote one fan while another sweetly added, “This will be my daughter’s first ever concert and she doesn’t know! She’s been begging to see Blake!!” Others conveyed their thoughts with heart-eyes and heart emojis along with music notes and guitars. Others begged Shelton to come to Texas, Idaho, California, and as another commented, “Come to NYC or New Jersey for the second part [of the tour].”

While Shelton has yet to announce his second leg dates, the singer did just release a self-dubbed 90s-inspired single, “No Body” and wrote to fans on Instagram, “I get excited and feel like a kid every time we release new music.” He continued, “This song in particular takes me back to the ‘90s when I was in high school and first moved to Nashville because it feels like what the music sounded like at that time.” Love it!
