Gwen Stefani shut down the Iowa Speedway last week in a cute Y2k and ska punk-inspired ensemble that we think was perfect for the finish line! During the Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend, the “Luxurious” hitmaker, 52, played a set that would please her fans from any era, performing beloved hits from her No Doubt days and her solo career, all while dressed in pieces that showed off her toned figure and signature eclectic style.

For her intricate concert attire, Stefani rocked a checkered black-and-white bralette with edgy, bondage-esque leather straps over it, high-waisted fishnet tights that covered her midsection, a checkered pink-and-white mini skirt, and fringy, patterned pants with palm tree and leopard print. Ultimately, it’s truly a look only the “Sweet Escape” singer could pull off (let’s not forget the studded heeled black boots!)

To accessorize, Stefani added a chunky, black belt around her tiny waist, layered gold necklaces, bracelets and rings. She further dazzled up her look with black cat-eye eyeliner, voluminous lashes, and donned her trademark red lip. To keep cool on the summer day, she tied her long blonde tresses into a slicked-back, sky high ponytail.

Stefani shared close-up details of her makeup look for the event on Twitter, posting 3 stunning selfies and another snap of her posing with fans. “Love it when you dress up,” she wrote, adding, “thx for a fun weekend @indycaratiowa.” Fans then began uploading videos from the show, dubbing Stefani’s performance to be “epic,” “so fun,” and a music-filled day that “had everyone jumping to the beat with her.” In addition, many tweeted that they couldn’t get enough of her “punk rock outfit,” and neither can we.
