The Weeknd has been in a number of high profile relationships over the years, and it seems that the 32-year-old crooner has moved on from his last rumored fling, Angelina Jolie, as he was spotted kissing 28-year-old DJ Simi Khadra in Las Vegas earlier this month. While the singer was seen out to a number of dinners with Jolie, things evidently fizzled and The Weeknd, née Abel Tesfaye, seems to be happily moving forward with Khadra.

Adding another layer of intrigue to the budding relationship, Tesfaye’s famous ex Selena Gomez posted an Instagram with Khadra and her sister Haze last week, captioning the cozy pic, “Since 2013,” with a blue heart emoji. Gomez and The Weeknd had a nearly 10 month long relationship back in 2017, sparking rumors that the album My Dear Melancholy is about the songstress.
While Gomez doesn’t seem too bothered by her ex moving on, someone who may be less than pleased with the new relationship is Bella Hadid, who was also famously once friends with the Khadra sisters. Hadid has seemingly unfollowed Khadra’s shared Instagram account with DJ sister Haze, but has also been reportedly dating art director Marc Kalman for nearly two years.

According to a source for E! News, Tesfaye and Khadra were “by each other’s sides the entire night” at the singer’s birthday event in Vegas, and even “making out” as seen by the now viral TikTok video. Another insider at the party revealed, “It was no secret that they were together.”
Khadra was evidently comfortable in the singer’s presence and amongst his crew, with a source sharing, “Simi knows all of Abel’s friends and it looked natural between them.” All is fair in love and war, right Bella?
