It’s no secret that we don’t know what goes on behind-the-scenes of our favorite television shows. And that really holds true for the relationship between two co-stars of the ever-popular sitcom “Sex and the City,” Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Cattrall and Parker may have been buddies on-screen all those years ago, but they had a much different relationship IRL when the cameras stopped rolling.

As reported by Us Weekly, 64-year-old Cattrall recently opened up about her relationship with Parker, or lack thereof, in a September 2020 interview with The Los Angeles Times.
“Everything is on Google. So, I encourage you to Google it about anything that I’ve said,” Cattrall said when asked about Parker. “I feel that that was then, and when I look at what’s going on around me, I just don’t have any regrets.” Yikes!
The seemingly growing rift was first publicized by Cattrall herself back in 2017 in a shocking interview with Piers Morgan. Cattrall claimed that the she, Parker, and fellow “Sex and the City” actresses Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon weren’t close in real life.
“We’ve never been friends,” Cattrall said of her on-screen girl squad. “We’ve been colleagues and, in some ways, it’s a very healthy place to be.” Cattrall added that Parker specifically “could have been nicer.”
Both Cattrall and 55-year-old Parker continue to try and move on from their SATC past to star in other successful shows. Cattrall stars in Fox’s television drama “Filthy Rich” and Parker has kept herself busy with an assortment of projects including a lead role in the award-winning HBO series “Divorce”.
