For most people, summer brings with it a time of dressing in flowy frocks and breezy linens in attempts to beat the heat. For celebrities, however, it seems to be a season that calls for tighter-than-ever looks and a chance to turn up the heat.

Celebrities and Instagram muses alike are opting for skin-tight dresses that put their figures on full display, and we’re sensing a trend: tight, black, and lingerie-inspired. Bella Hadid put her spin on the sizzling trend with this sequined ensemble she shared with her 24.9 million Instagram followers.

The supermodel got comfy while posing in a curve-hugging, black sequin dress by Michael Kors, which featured a dramatically low-plunging neckline. Hadid wore the head-turning piece to The Council of Fashion Designers of America’s award show earlier this month, where she was accompanied by the designer.

Ariel Winter took on the tight dress trend by opting for this lingerie-inspired number with a high-slit. With its bustier top, slinky fabric, and lace trim, the dress flirtingly put Winter’s assets center stage as she rocked the red carpet. We’ve been noticing more of this sheer style popping up, proving lingerie is no longer reserved just for the bedroom when it’s styled right.

Of course, no skin-tight trend is complete without Kim Kardashian West outfitting her famous figure in it. The 38-year-old mogul stepped out wearing a curve-clinging, black mini she paired with chunky wooden jewelry and nude flip flops. She wore her ever-changing hair pulled back in a sleek half-pony and from what we can see, opted for a neutral makeup look.
