The One Thing You Should Drink At Night to Help Inflammation

Creating a healthy bedtime routine is important. Whether it’s following a skincare regiment or taking a little time to meditate before bed, these little things make a big difference and keep your body feeling good.

For those of you that suffer from inflammation, there’s probably a list of things you’ve tried to keep it at bay. But, there’s one thing you should drink before bed that will definitely help your inflammation.

Turmeric milk is a great anti-inflammatory bedtime beverage that has been proven to also improve digestion, heartburn and reflux. This drink is very popular in India and is almost similar to drinking a warm glass of milk, but with outstanding health benefits.

This powerful drink is filled with healthy and gut-friendly ingredients like turmeric, which has strong anti-inflammatory properties, and ginger, which promote good digestion and prevents nausea. It also calls for coconut milk, which contains healthy fats and prevents stomach and digestive upset from bacteria.

Not only is this drink great for helping inflammation, but it’s also incredibly easy to make:

-2 cups coconut milk

-1 teaspoon turmeric

-¼ teaspoon black pepper

-1-inch piece of sliced ginger root

Whisk the ingredients together and pour them into a saucepan. Heat until it is at a low boiling and bubbling. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes. Strain out the ginger root and pour it into your favorite mug. Also, add some honey to taste.
