Taylor Swift has survived another close encounter with a dangerous stalker!
A federal judge just sentenced a Texas man to 30 months in prison for stalking and threatening the “Cardigan” singer for years.
The multiple Grammy winner has been the victim of over a dozen stalkers since she shot to stardom in 2016–and this recent one is among the worst!

Eric Swarbrick was given the lengthy sentence after sending menacing mail to the office of Taylor Swift’s former label Big Machine Records.
Swarbrick began sending letters to the Nashville, Tennessee office in January 2018 asking asking CEO Scott Borchetta to introduce him to the star.
He would go on to sent at least 40 letters and emails, which became increasingly violent and sexual in nature. Disgusting!

The stalker even drove from his home in Austin, Texas, to personally deliver the letters and was found wandering the halls, including on August 2, when he was arrested by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. So incredibly scary for Taylor AND the employees of Big Machine!
But it gets worse. After his release, he continued to contact the record label, expressing his desire to rape and kill Swift, and stating that he would kill himself in front of the company’s CEO and employees.
If you recall, Taylor has admitted to living in fear that one of her many stalkers over the year could attack her. She told Elle that she carries around army grand bandage dressing for gunshot or stabs. “My fear of violence has continued into my personal life,” she wrote in a personal essay.

Pointing to the intrusive media for her woes, Taylor went on to state, “Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I’ve ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things.”
She also reportedly uses facial recognition technology at her concerts. You can’t be careful enough violent predators are involved!
