Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s custody battle is heating up!

In fact, the “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” star plans to call on Angelina’s former co-star to testify. Wow–that was an unexpected turn! Here’s the latest:

Us Weekly reports that the 56-year-old’s lawyers are planning to call on her “Girl, Interrupted,” “Maleficent” and “A Mighty Heart,” costar Jillian Armenante to take the stand in the increasingly contentious dispute.

Additionally, Pitt's legal team wants to cross-examine Angelina, and they provided a list of psychologists, a therapist and security consultants to take the stand when the trial starts on October 5th.

The "Ocean's Eleven" star and former bride have been locked in a court battle since splitting in 2016. The point of contention is a permanent custody arrangement for their children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.

The high-profile former couple have failed to resolve their issues out of the court system in the four years since their split. “Tensions have escalated between Brad and Angelina, with family therapy no longer taking place,” a source told Us.

The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-stars are reportedly dead-locked on the custody matter.

“Brad wants 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of the kids. Angelina has been unagreeable to those terms,” the insider revealed.

“[She] will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic].” Yikes!
