The “Toxic” singer’s lawyers just filed court docs opposing Jamie’s motions to seal her conservatorship case AND confirmed that the star is trying to get some personal autonomy (aka, freedom) back in her life. This is huge!

Last week, TMZ reported on the lawyer's filing, revealing that, "Britney herself is vehemently opposed to this effort by her father to keep her legal struggle hidden away in the closet as a family secret."

"Far from being a conspiracy theory or a 'joke' as James [Jamie] reportedly told the media, in large part this scrutiny is a reasonable and even predictable result of James' aggressive use of the sealing procedure over the years to minimize the amount of meaningful information made available to the public," the lawyers wrote.
In case you missed it, the pop phenom is battling with her dad about him being at the helm of her tight conservatorship. While many fans were shocked to learn that Britney did in fact refer to the conservatorship as "voluntary" in court docs, her lawyer affirmed the validity of the Free Britney movement. They even attached a copy of a Free Britney article to the docs!

All Britneys wants is for someone independent to take the reins, and she argues (fairly) that there are no "medical issues or sensitive issues with her children to protect," so there's no reason to keep the hearing secret.
