Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are at the center of a lot of speculation when it comes to drama in the royal family.
Since Meghan and Harry announced that they would be stepping back from royal duties, many have wondered if conflict between Kate and Meghan contributed to the decision. Although more details on the decision will be revealed soon (with Harry and Meghan’s book Finding Freedom coming out in August), for right now it seems safe to say that Meghan and Kate do not see eye to eye–especially with this latest news!

Princess Beatrice and her now-husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi celebrated their wedding in a secret ceremony on July 17, opting for a small, private celebration to minimize any crowds. The ceremony was held at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park.
Although the guest list was severely limited with worries about Covid-19, other members of the royal family still made sure to congratulate the bride and groom--though they went about it in very different ways.
William and Kate posted a public message on their Kensington Palace Instagram story, featuring a picture of the newlywed couple with the Queen and Prince Philip.
Their message was simple: "Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi who were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday!"
Meghan and Harry, on the other hand, did not post any public messages. Their joint Instagram account, Sussex Royal, has not been active for months now. Their last post was March 30.
However, according to Hello!, Meghan and Harry still sent their well wishes to the couple, just privately. The article explains that a source close to the royal family confirmed that "they congratulated Prince Harry's cousin and her new husband privately."
While Meghan and Kate certainly took different approaches to congratulating the newlyweds, it seems like there was nothing but best wishes for Princess Beatrice and her new husband.
