Tom Brady shocked New England Patriots fans when he announced that he would be signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Many assumed that Brady, who has had a 20-year run with the Patriots, would retire rather than trade teams.
In the midst of his announcement, Gisele Bündchen, Brady’s wife, showed support for her husband’s decision. The supermodel wrote on Instagram, “Boston has been so good to us and will always be in our hearts…Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of my husband and our family throughout all these years. We will miss you!”
Bündchen’s support has continued as Brady starts working with his new team.
Brady recently shared a photo of him sporting the Buccaneers jersey, expressing his excitement in the caption: "ALL CAPS: LFG."
Bündchen was quick to comment on her hubby's post, writing, "What a cutie!!!" with four fire emojis.
Brady's family isn't the only one excited about his new team. The Buccaneers Instagram also shared photos of the athlete in his new uniform, captioning the post, "He's here and he's perfect."
The couple has been embracing their new home during quarantine. A source told Us Weekly that they are "loving the warm weather." Plus, their new home is complete with "a beautiful view overlooking the bay."
The source also explained how the couple was handling the challenges of quarantine by focusing on the positives.
The insider explained, "With the quarantine, it’s a challenge for them like any other parents trying to stick to a normal routine in the household."
However, the family is trying to enjoy their time together while Brady isn't too busy: "But this added time together is such a gift. They’re making the most of it during the off-season and prioritizing family time before training really kicks into high gear for Tom."
