Meghan Markle’s Father Continues To Speak Out—His Latest Comments Are Shocking!

Meghan Markle and her father, Thomas Markle, have had a fraught relationship for years, with their dirty laundry consistently being aired to the public. However, this doesn’t seem to bother the elder Markle who recently spoke in an interview with GB News, addressing his daughter’s claims that a member of the royal family questioned the color of their child’s skin tone before Archie was born.

Openly refuting Meghan’s assertion of racism within the royal family, Thomas revealed in the interview that the comment was likely “nothing more than a simple innocent question.” He also noted that when his ex-wife, Doria, was pregnant with Meghan she was asked the same thing, using this as evidence to shut down the idea of racism.

“This new book inferring that Charles was racist is nonsense,” Markle recently asserted. “He just asked an innocent question when he asked what colour the baby would be.” He then continued, saying, “That’s just curiosity that most people have and it can never be answered until the birth.”

Downplaying his daughter’s claims and likening them to his own experience, Markle shared, “When I married Doria and she was pregnant with Meghan, some of our friends asked the same question and they were not racists they were just curious.” Markle’s latest comments come after the publishing of the book, “Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan” makes the claim that Prince Charles was the royal questioning baby Archie’s skin tone and allegedly saying, “I wonder what the children will look like.”

It’s unclear what authority Thomas Markle believes he has to refute his daughter’s claims of racism or weigh in on the situation, but Prince Charles’ team has staunchly denied the allegations made in the book. A spokesperson for the 73-year-old royal said, “This is fiction and not worth further comment.”
