Tom Brady entered the world of NFL broadcasting during the Dallas Cowboys’ clash with the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field last week, following his recent signing of a lucrative 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports. However, the 47-year-old Super-Bowl champ’s inaugural appearance was overshadowed by social media buzz, as fans speculated about possible “plastic surgery” and “botox,” suggesting he looked noticeably “different” during his debut.

In a post for its 230K Instagram followers, DraftKings Sportsbook shared photos of Brady from the event. Fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts. “Tom need to chill with that Botox,” one wrote as another added: “Disrespectful of him to have more money than I make a year inside of his face.” Someone else replied: “Toms new face is weird.”

Fans React To Tom Brady's NFL Broadcasting Debut Amid 'Botox' And Plastic Surgery Rumors

More viewers of Brady's on-air moment headed to X (formerly Twitter). One tweeted: "Face looks weird. What is it, botox? Some new rich celeb thing?" as someone else wrote: "Can Tom Brady get plastic surgery on his vocal cords too, or just botox, a new jawline, hair plugs, and a new nose?" One other commented: "Lay off the Botox" as an additional user harshly chimed in: "1. Tom Brady sucks as an announcer 2. Tom Brady has been taking a lot of Botox since he retired."

Certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov, who has analyzed countless celebrity faces over the years, recently went into some detail about the former New England Patriots quarterback's face, and started from way back in 2001 when he was 24 years old.

In a 2022 YouTube video, Linkov discussed Brady's facial features, highlighting a frontotemporal recession and noting that his eyebrows were particularly striking, epitomizing the "ideal" male aesthetic. However, Linkov speculated that Brady might have undergone feminization surgery in 2002, as his once prominent brow ridge appeared noticeably reduced.

Jump ahead to 2022, when Linkov began to speculate that Brady might have undergone Botox treatments. "At the age of 45, now I'm starting to see some signs of Botox," Linkov explained at the end of his video, after noting that the retired athlete had a "smoother appearance to his forehead" and "reduced animation."

On September 5th, 2023, Brady ignited further Botox rumors with his appearance in an NFL promotional video, leaving countless fans convinced that he looked more altered than ever before.

"Dude needs to chill on the plastic surgery," one user wrote in the NFL post's comments section, while someone else said, "Botox city Jesus." Another simply deemed him "Botox Brady." An additional commenter noted: "The plastic surgery is creepy," as one other theorized: "He definitely got buccal fat removal."

For what it's worth, Linkov mentioned in his aforementioned video that Brady had experienced a loss of lateral and middle cheek fat, potentially a natural part of aging.

However, the video, created in 2022, did not reflect Brady's 2023 (or 2024) appearance, leaving room for speculation that he might have opted for the contentious buccal fat removal procedure since then. Brady has yet to respond to these fresh and resurfaced fan accusations and rumors.
