Gisele Bündchen Recovers From 'The Roast Of Tom Brady'
While Tom Brady spends time with his new love interest, Gisele and her beau, Joaquim Valente, are still recovering from the jokes aimed their way during Netflix's The Roast of Tom Brady.
During Kevin Hart's segment, he made some pretty nasty comments about Gisele's new relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor. "I mean, JesusChrist, Tom. One of the smarted quarterbacks ever played a game," he said. "How did you not see this coming? Eight f***ing karate classes a day...Eight karate classes a day and she's still got a white belt. F*** Tom. The only bruises she had were on her ***. Everybody should've known it."
Rude and uncalled for, for sure. And while it may have hit Tom Brady where it hurt, it also affected Gisele. While sources close to the couple assured In Touch magazine that "They're still a solid unit," they noted that "the roast just threw them for a loop because Joaquim is so private, and he didn’t like being the butt of a joke. Nor did Gisele!"
However, now that a few weeks have passed, all is well in paradise. "There was a cooling off phase," the source said. "But they're very much back together now. The attention and scrutiny they got from Tom Brady's roast made them take a step back, but once the dust settled they realized how much they love each other."
