Tom Brady fans should rejoice, as it doesn’t look like his football career is ending any time soon! A few months ago, fans thought the seven-time Super Bowl champ could very well have been entering the final season of his football career, which they feared even more after some questionable behavior both on and off the field amid his marriage troubles with then wife Gisele Bündchen.
However, following their official divorce and the fact that she has appeared to move on romantically, the 45-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is reportedly determined continue doing what he does best!
Insiders Don't Think Tom Brady Is Ready To Retire Just Yet
League insider Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network hinted that as things currently stand, nothing is off the table regarding Brady's NFL future, including him returning to the New England Patriots if we are to believe some of the rumors doing the rounds this month.
"I talked to several sources close to him this week, the explanation was that all options are on the table for Brady," Rapoport said. "So what that means: retirement? Certainly that is a possibility still. Being back with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2023? Also possible – something I know they would want. And then there’s maybe the most interesting one – could Brady be a free agent this coming offseason again? It would be certainly the most high-profile free agent going this year. Obviously, a lot to watch going forward." Wow!

Brady's Previous Announcements About His Football Career
Back in February, Brady announced that he would officially be retiring from football after 22 seasons of the sport, but one month later, he walked back his decision, revealing that he would actually be returning to Tampa to play yet another season.

Brady only stayed in retirement for 40 days, taking to Twitter on March 13th to share the good news to a league of adoring fans. "These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now," Brady wrote. "I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. Friends and family members of the iconic football player have weighed in on his return to the field, with ex Bridget Moynahan writing on Instagram, "Thank God, I had no idea what I was going to do with my Sundays. Congratulations @tombrady, so proud of you!" Meanwhile, Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen commented on his latest Instagram post, writing, "Here we go again! Let’s go lovvvey! Let’s go Bucs!"

While Brady’s retirement was short-lived, his father, Tom Brady Sr. weighed in on the initial cause for the decision. "They were announcing his retirement before he even retired," the 78-year-old said on an ESPN podcast earlier this week. "You know, the media made the news. He was not ready to make any decision and didn’t make any decision but [Adam] Schefter and [Jeff] Darlington stated it as fact. You know, he hadn’t made any decision on that."
Prior to his time playing as quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady was quarterback for the New England Patriots for 20 seasons. With an impressive career to boast of, he has won seven Super Bowls, securing his spot as one of the most impressive quarterbacks in NFL history.
