Actors often take on very different looks when taking on a role, and even A-listers like Tom Hanks aren’t immune from some serious transformations. The 64-year-old debuted his latest look during an interview on The Graham Norton Show, and even he admitted that he was not a fan of the “horrible” new hairdo.

Yep, you saw that right: Tom Hanks has gone totally bald for his latest role.
Hanks shaved his head in preparation for his part of Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' manager, in Baz Luhrmann’s new Elvis movie, and the actor is not too happy about the new look.
The Greyhound actor started the interview by carefully hiding his new 'do underneath a baseball cap, but eventually revealed the updated look.
He joked, "Let me show you the horrible haircut I have to have in order to play Colonel Tom Parker."

He quickly put the cap back on, quipping, "I just scared the children, I want to apologize."
Although we think Hanks pulls off the new 'do just fine, seeing America's sweetheart without his signature coiff was a bit jarring at first for fans. The host and audience reacted with a mix of laughter and sounds of worry when he first revealed his new look..
