It’s no secret that Trader Joe’s stocks their shelves with some of the most delicious foods around. This is especially true of their desserts and baked goods. In fact, their sweet treats are so good that I sometimes have to leave them out of my cart because I know I’ll overindulge and finish them off in record time. Such seems to be the case for many shoppers out there when it comes to one cake in particular: the Carrot Mini Sheet Cake.
Trader Joe’s sheet cakes are pretty much iconic for being moist, delicious, and irresistible, and if customer reviews are any indication, this variety checks all of the boxes.
Trader Joe's shoppers love the Carrot Mini Sheet Cake
All cake is delicious, but if you ask me, nothing hits the spot quite like a delicious carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. So it doesn't come as a surprise that Trader Joe's shoppers are raving about the store's Carrot Mini Sheet Cake.
"It's diabolical how good the sheet cakes are," wrote one Reddit user, who posted a photo of the carrot variety. "The carrot cake is so good. We’ve been loyal chocolate sheet cake fans for over a year but we may have to add this into the rotation as well. Have yet to try the lemon cake but the quality of their other flavors has been top notch and better than some bakeries!"
This fan isn't alone in their love for the cake. The comments were flooded with people echoing the same sentiment.
"The carrot cake is 10x better than the chocolate cake, and I love no dessert more than chocolate cake!" wrote one person.

"I ate the whole thing in less than 24 hours," another confessed.
"Best cake for 5 bucks you can buy anywhere," praises one comment. "I bet you could get two, stack them and dress them up and serve as a birthday cake and people would compliment it." I certainly wouldn't complain!
This cake is simple. It's exactly what it sounds like: An 18oz sheet cake made of moist, flavorful carrot cake and cream cheese frosting. But sometimes simple is the best thing to be.
But if cake isn't your thing, there are plenty of other fan-favorite items at TJ's to try out. In fact, I think I need to make a Trader Joe's run, like, ASAP—and I'll probably add a sheet cake or two to my cart. Who cares about the consequences of sugar?!
