The treat in question? Gluten-Free Strawberry Muffins, perfect for a quick breakfast or sweet bite at any time of day. And, shoppers say, if they hadn’t been told the muffins were gluten-free, they “would not believe it.”
Trader Joe's Introduces Gluten-Free Strawberry Muffins
The new Gluten-Free Strawberry Muffins joins Trader Joe's existing favorite Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Muffins on shelves for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth without consuming gluten. According to the grocery giant, these muffins combine a gluten-free flour blend including white and brown rice flours, potato starch, and tapioca starch along with sweet cream buttermilk and sour cream to "create one of the most marvelously moist muffins we've ever tasted, gluten-free or otherwise." Trader Joe's elaborates that this "seasonal Strawberry spin" also includes a warm vanilla and brown sugar-infused muffin base that delivers "plenty of sweet strawberries in every bite!"
The website recommends pairing the muffins with a hot cup of Trader Joe's French Vanilla coffee for a delish on-the-go breakfast, or enjoying à la mode with a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream. They also include a lighthearted warning: "like summer berry season, these Gluten Free Strawberry Muffins will only be around for a limited time!"
