Trader Joe’s Just Made This Huge Announcement About Their Stores & Customers Are Freaking Out

To take care of their employees, the grocery chain specified that they will continue to pay all crew members for any scheduled shifts even if there is an unplanned store closure.

The announcement continues, "At Trader Joe’s, there is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our Crew Members and customers. We believe in being proactive and transparent in addressing issues, and we value information and clear communication.

Recent store closures have been the result of either a crew member testing positive for coronavirus or receiving treatment for a potential case.

Trader Joe's also has a message for concerned customers: "“We are working closely with local health officials to take all necessary measures and provide our communities with the most appropriate information needed to make an informed decision regarding their health and safety. We encourage customers who have health-related concerns to review CDC and local health department guidelines and to contact their healthcare providers with any questions."
