As if you needed one more fall pastry to add to your must-try list, Trader Joe’s just brought back an all-timer.

There are always so many goodies to try at Trader Joe’s, but many of them are only on the shelves for a limited time. Every year, shoppers look forward to the return of the store’s seasonal items, including pumpkin everything. In addition to pumpkin spreads, sauces, and cookies, there’s one fall bakery item that’s definitely somewhere at the top of ranking: the Pumpkin Caramel Kringle. Find all the details on this mouthwatering pastry below.

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Caramel Kringle Returns

Nothing says “fall” like a pumpkin pastry—and we can’t think of anyone who does ’em better than Trader Joe’s. One of the latest additions to their fall offerings is none other than the returning Pumpkin Caramel Kringle.

If you’re not sure what, exactly, a Kringle is, let us enlighten you: This Danish pastry features 36 layers of braided dough, coming together in a ring shape. It’s typically filled with anything from delicious cheese to sweet fruits, and it’s all topped off with icing, sugar, cinnamon, and maybe even nuts. This particular Kringle from TJ’s is filled with (you guessed it) pumpkin, caramel, and tasty fall spices, with some crunchy pecans on top. Yum!

Like many seasonal Trader Joe’s items, shoppers are obsessed with this sweet treat. When this goodie was in stores last year, fans on Reddit called it a 12/10. One commenter said their husband described the Kringle as “a pumpkin pie inside of a cinnamon roll.” Sign us up!

Although some call this their "favorite Kringle," there are plenty of other flavors to choose from throughout the year, including almond, raspberry, cheesecake, and pecan. Try them all and find your fave!

Here's a pro tip: Trader Joe's gets all of their seasonal Kringles from O&H, a Wisconsin-based Danish bakery. If at any point you pull up to TJ's for your favorite Kringle only to find that they're out of stock (which happens frequently, due to their popularity), you can always order directly from the bakery. And in the meantime, you might as well stock up on some other best-selling Trader Joe's items. Happy shopping!
