If you’re looking for a tasty new meal item for the summer, Trader Joe’s might have just the trick—fans say their Thai Shrimp Gyoza Potstickers are so good, they “have [them] in a chokehold.”

Trader Joe’s Thai Shrimp Gyoza Potstickers Have Fans Saying ‘Just WOW!’

Trader Joe’s creates their Thai Shrimp Gyoza Potstickers with a heaping helping of shrimp, spices, white cabbage, green onion, and chives, stuffed into tender wheat flour dumpling shells that are ready to just heat and eat. Just fry them in a pan on the cooktop, steam them, or warm ’em up in the microwave if you’re feeling impatient! The world is your oyster…or, as it goes, shrimp.

User @Proseccoriqo on Twitter raved about the potstickers with a short video showing their own preparation of the dish. The poster also added that they whipped up their own homemade sauce for the potstickers from chili oil, sriracha, soy sauce, and teriyaki, which sounds like an absolutely delicious dipper for these dumplings.

Social Media Loves These Shrimp Dumplings

The Thai Gyoza Shrimp Potstickers have been around for awhile now, but it seems every so often a wave of new fans of the product hit social media to share their raves about the tasty item:

Trader Joe's also offers popular Chicken Gyoza Potstickers, which feature similar dumpling wrappers filled with chicken, cabbage, onion, soy and sesame seed oil, and ginger powder.

The chain shared their preferred preparation method for the Gyoza Potstickers on the Trader Joe's website: "Heat oil in a pan (or wok); place the potstickers in the hot pan, bottom side down (creases up), and cook over medium-high until browned and crisped; (optional: carefully turn to brown each side); throw a little water into the pan and cover to steam the dumplings off the pan (take care to not add too much water, as the dough can start to come undone) Serve hot with our Gyoza Dipping Sauce or place atop a bed of greens and dress with simple soy-sesame vinaigrette."
