Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital on June 28 and reports confirm that he has been diagnosed with pancreatitis.
According to TMZ, who was first to report the news, “doctors believe it was triggered by a colonoscopy.” Several sources also mentioned that the condition “includes symptoms like nausea, intense stomach pain, and vomiting.” In case you’re not familiar, pancreatitis is when “digestive juices or enzymes attack the pancreas” and as a result, leads to redness and inflammation of the organ. As reported by Johns Hopkins Medicine, “the most common causes of pancreatitis include alcohol abuse and lumps of solid material (gallstones) found in the gallbladder.”

Additionally, an insider told People that the 46-year-old Blink 182 drummer “was complaining of cramps.” Barker was reportedly taken to West Hills hospital first (since it was closer to their home), but was later on rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Photos obtained by TMZ show the musician being wheeled into the facility on a stretcher with wife Kourtney Kardashian constantly by his side.

Barker’s 16-year-old daughter, Alabama, reached out to her followers on social media for support. “Please send your prayers,” she shared on her Instagram Story. In a now deleted TikTok post, she also took a photo holding her father’s hand while he laid down on what seems to be a stretcher or hospital bed. Her caption wrote, “Please say a prayer.”
