After Taylor Swift and some of her closest A-list friends showed up to support Travis Kelce at the Super Bowl – where his team the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers – it was time for him to finally return the favor and watch his girlfriend do what she does best: perform!
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has now joined the “Anti-Hero” singer in Sydney as she embarks on the Australian leg of her Eras Tour. The first show kicked off on Friday at the Accor Stadium in Sydney, with the couple being spotted by fans doing some sight-seeing and visiting Sydney Zoo beforehand.

Travis Kelce Joins Taylor Swift In Australia
The couple were spotted walking hand in hand, with Taylor wearing some blue shorts and a pink tank top. According to reports, she and her boyfriend had a fun-filled day at the zoo – which she reportedly also visited the day before his arrival – and even petted and fed the kangaroos. Aww!
We have a feeling that Kelce’s presence Down Under will make Swift’s fans very happy, as he received some criticism for not attending the Grammys with her earlier this month, despite her showing up to so many of his football games. Albeit, to the dismay of some NFL fans.
If you'll recall, Travis faced some backlash for not supporting the 34-year-old "Bad Blood" singer at the big awards show earlier this month, where she won the highly-coveted 'Album of the Year' award for her 2022 album Midnights.
Swift actually made history that night, as it was the fourth time she received the prestigious accolade, which is a first for any artist.
Travis Kelce Received Backlash For Grammys Absence
Fans were disappointed that Kelce didn't attend the awards ceremony, as they were banking on them making their red carpet debut together. Kelce *did* have a good reason for not attending though, as he and his team were preparing for the Super Bowl, which they are now the champions of.
"I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she's nominated for," Kelce said during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on January 31st. "But I think I got practice on Sunday. I know I got practice Saturday, but Sunday is a travel day. Unfortunately, I've got to get ready for this big ol' Super Bowl that we've got in a week," he added.
