Travis Kelce recently unveiled an endearing nickname for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, while reflecting on his memorable debut during her Eras Tour. The NFL star, 34, who has affectionately called the Grammy-winning artist, also 34, “baby” and “sweetie” in the past, shared his thoughts on his June 2024 London cameo during an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show this week.

The athlete smiled and said: “I’m always down to have some fun on stage with Tay Tay.” To the surprise of many fans, Kelce confessed that he had put little effort into preparing for the performance, which occurred near the conclusion of Swift’s Tortured Poets Department set. Shortly after his latest interview, fans on social media were smitten by Kelce referring to Swift as “Tay Tay” and noticeablyglowing” as hetalked about her.”

On September 3rd, Kelce engaged in the video call chat with host Rich Eisen, who humorously dubbed him the “First Gentleman of Pop Culture,” a title that Kelce and fans found quite entertaining. Regarding his instantly viral Eras Tour on stage appearance, Kelce recalled: “Taylor knew when the lights are on I’m gonna have some fun and she put me in a position so that I didn’t have to do much for it to be a success. She put me in a really comfortable part of the show.”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made an unforgettable moment by lifting Swift during her performance, and he confided in Eisen, 55, that his main concern was ensuring she didn’t fall. “That would have been the most embarrassing thing I ever could have done,” he went on.

After the Rich Eisen Show shared a clip of Kelce to YouTube, one fan wrote beneath it: "The way his face lights up when talking about his girlfriend is honestly so cute."

Another added: ""Tay Tay" Oh my goodness," as someone else replied: "Yes!!! This just made my day." One other user deemed Kelce and Swift to be the "the cutest celebrity couple."

An additional devotee commented: "Normally I don't give a rat's behind about celebrity romances but honestly, I hope this works out. It would be like we were all there when they met and here we are, watching them walk down the aisle."

In a different segment of the episode, Kelce revealed that his girlfriend has been devising plays for the Chiefs’ offense, following his teammate Patrick Mahomes’ surprising disclosure last week. Kelce shared that the "Down Bad" singer has shown a remarkable eagerness to understand football, especially considering she entered their relationship with almost no prior knowledge of the sport.

"She didn’t know much about the rules and everything and I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she is so detailed in every aspect of it from the words to the music to even the releases and the music videos," he said. He added: "She is so detailed that I think she was just curious about the profession."

Nonetheless, Kelce mentioned that he has refrained from revealing any of the "Fortnight" songwriter's offensive strategies to head coach Andy Reid, despite the fact that these plans frequently place the ball in his hands during plays. He quipped: "She is a little biased and just creates plays for me."

Kelce actually might have the opportunity to set one of the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker’s plays in action later this week, as his team begins the NFL season against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5th.

Swift, renowned for her global and record-breaking tour, still found time to attend 13 of her boyfriend's games last season. With a break of over a month after concluding the European leg of her tour, the pop star is anticipated to be present for the home opener.

Reports, as noted by Page Six, suggest that she plans to spend the majority of her upcoming time off in Kansas City with her beau.
