Fans Think Travis Kelce Told Taylor Swift He Loved Her While Ringing In 2024
Soon after the New Year's smooch video went viral on X (formerly Twitter), many fans began writing that Kelce "seemed to say I love you" to Swift, with others adding that they already appear "in love" as it is.
However, after careful examination, the group of expert lip readers apparently came to a unanimous agreement that the video in question is too indistinct and blurry to accurately decipher whether those three words were officially uttered.
Despite this, many sources and insiders have dished that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and "Anti-Hero" hitmaker have "fallen in love," just six months into their relationship.
According to one insider who reportedly spoke with Us Weekly in November 2023, the duo have been expressing their affection with the coveted L-word.
"They’re in love," the source said as another noted that things are "getting very serious" between the NFL star and "Lavender Haze" songwriter: "Taylor sees long-term potential with Travis."
Although Swift and Kelce have been more open than ever before about their relationship, they have refrained from posting anything about it on their social media accounts.
During her 'Person of the Year' interview with Time Magazine last month, Swift elaborated on why the two feel comfortable with publicly dating.
"When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care," Swift said.
"The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other," she added.
The "Bejeweled" artist continued, reflecting: "Over the years, I’ve learned I don’t have the time or bandwidth to get pressed about things that don’t matter. Yes, if I go out to dinner, there’s going to be a whole chaotic situation outside the restaurant. But I still want to go to dinner with my friends."
"Life is short," Swift went on. "Have adventures. Me locking myself away in my house for a lot of years—I’ll never get that time back. I’m more trusting now than I was six years ago."
