Tristan Thompson has cemented a spot in the public eye as of late, but not for anything worth taking pride in. After news broke that the basketball player was to father a child with Maralee Nichols, and had been cheating while in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian, the 30-year-old then went on to share a thirst trap selfie to social media, garnering displeasure from the general public.
Earlier this month, the Sacramento Kings player posted a shirtless selfie to his Instagram story in an apparent thirst trap for his followers. Thompson captioned the image “grind time,” but fans were less than pleased with the image, deeming it insensitive in light of recent controversy.
In fact, a Reddit thread dedicated to Thompson’s shirtless selfie was created, and people dug into the sports star and his recent actions. “Grind on them child support checks,” one person wrote, while another commented, “Out on the hunt for Baby Mama #4.”
Thompson, who fathered daughter True with Kardashian back in 2018, is already father to son Prince with baby mama Jordan Craig who he was with before meeting Kardashian. The 30-year-old most recently welcomed another daughter back in December with Nichols, who claimed she had no knowledge that Thompson was still with Kardashian.
Although Thompson shared a lengthy apology to social media in which he directly addressed Kardashian and “the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” fans were still amused that he already found it appropriate to be posting thirst traps on social media. “Ugh. Zero shame in his game,” one fan wrote.
