After a meme-worthy video surfaced on social media of Ivanka Trump surfing in a purple bathing suit this week, she became the subject of many jokes on X (formerly Twitter). This occurred as the former First Daughter, 42, was attempting to avoid appearing in court due to concerns about childcare problems, as reported by Newsweek.

Ivanka, together with her brothers Donald Jr. and Eric, has been called upon as a witness in her father Donald‘s civil fraud trial amounting to $250 million. The New York Attorney General, Letitia James, alleges that the family artificially inflated their asset values in order to reap financial rewards, although they maintain their innocence.

The mom of three had previously been a co-defendant in the case but is now a witness. Recently, she asked for a pause in her testimony due to the “undue hardship” of attending during a “school week.” However, her request was denied by the appeals court, resulting in social media jokes and suggestions that she should find a babysitter.

Once again, the jokes were reignited on November 27th when she posted a picture of herself riding a wave simulator while vacationing in the Bahamas following Thanksgiving. In addition to sharing a picture of her seven-year-old son, Theodore, enjoying the simulated waves at the waterpark, Ivanka received teasing comments on X, implying that she had successfully enlisted the help of a babysitter.

"I can't stop laughing because apparently she did find a babysitter and then wiped out," someone tweeted in response as another added: "No school this week?" Someone else commented: "Guess she found a babysitter."

In the meantime, she faced ridicule from others due to being tossed off the board by a wave, an act commonly referred to as "wiping out." One tweeted: "Wait until you see how badly her dad wipes out in federal court."

Judge Arthur Engoron delivered a partial summary in the civil trial in September, as Newsbreak noted, affirming the commission of fraud. He found that Ivanka's father Donald had considerably overstated the worth of his assets to gain more advantageous conditions from both lenders and insurers.

In addition to determining the amount of damages owed, the court will render a verdict on six additional charges against him, such as falsification of business records, insurance fraud, and conspiracy allegations.

Meanwhile, Donald, currently leading in the Republican primaries, is grappling with four separate criminal indictments containing a total of 91 charges.
