The brand is even touting them as “ugly,” see this sponsored High Snobiety story, which gives them glory for such a classification. The headline reads, “These Are the Chunky Sneakers of Eyewear & They’re Gonna Be Huge,” likening them to the aforementioned chunky sneaker trend (which is huge).
