Literally anything goes with swimwear these days. Naked, sequins, clear strap–you name the scandalous or oddball trend and there’s a swimwear version of it.
And now Stranger Thing‘s “the upside down” is no longer just for TV fans–upside down fashion like shorts and now bathing suits are officially happening!
The latter comes courtesy of Italian model Valentina Fradegrada, who started posting string bikini tops tied upside down (with the neck ties around the rib cage) on her Instagram account earlier this year, Yahoo Australia points out.
There is even an Instagram account @upsidedownbikini (run by Fradegrada) dedicated to it.

The trend, which has been going viral with Insta bikini models like Valeria Ray, actually works!
“Apparently wearing bikini upside down is now a thing and it gives you an instant boob job,” one Instagram user points out. True, it does kind of makes your boobs look amazing!
