Valerie Announces Her Career News On Social Media

In an official trailer for Bingo Blitz, the Hot In Cleveland actress says the series will be "taking bingo to the next level and way beyond."

"We call it Bingo Blitz, and it's like nothing you've seen before," she continues.

Valerie also mentions in the trailer that she is having "so much fun" working on the new show and believes that viewers at home will enjoy themselves too. Bingo Blitz is said to present a new take on the classic lottery-style game, combining it with trivia. Contestants will have to use a lot of strategy, but some things will simply come down to luck.

In a promotional Instagram post for the upcoming show, fans congratulated the Golden Globe winner on her next chapter.

"You keep reinventing yourself, but you're still the same wonderful, caring person," commented a fan.

"Can't wait to see you back!" wrote another.

Valerie's Extensive Career In Television Takes An Exciting New Turn

More recent fans of the actress may recognize her from her appearances as a lifestyle expert on The Drew Barrymore Show, which she's been doing since last September. As a member of the "Drew Crew," Valerie has joined the daytime host to discuss various lifestyle tips and tricks for viewers. She'd dive into relatable situations like relationship drama, tips for approaching life with a positive outlook, etc.

However, the 64-year-old has been appearing on television since she was a young woman, starring in her first sitcom at 15 years old in 1975. After performing in several series and made-for-TV films, she was brought on to the Food Network in 2015 to host her own show, Valerie's Home Cooking. She also hosted the popular competition series, Kids Baking Championship, and became a prominent figure on the network.

After her contract for her Food Network shows was not renewed in 2022, the mom of one officially left the channel and began taking on other projects. Although many of her fans have missed watching her in the kitchen, they're happy to have her back as a consistent host on a refreshing new game show.

"You are going to love it," she says in a video on Instagram. "I know, because I love it."

If you're ready to see Valerie re-enter her hosting era, Bingo Blitz premieres on the Game Show Network on Monday, April 14th.
