Valerie Bertinelli Thrills Fans With Major Career Announcement As She Will Be Joining ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’: ‘I Love This!’

Valerie Bertinelli has become the latest addition to the “Drew Crew,” much to the delight of her fans! The chef and television personality, 64, is set to join The Drew Barrymore Show as a lifestyle expert, as initially reported by People.

Bertinelli will be making frequent appearances on the CBS-owned program, and following this week’s announcement, she expressed her enthusiasm, stating she is “super excited” to become part of the award-winning talk show’s team. Fans, too, are eagerly anticipating the cookbook author’s return to their screens, as evidenced by their reactions on X (formerly known as Twitter).

This week, one fan wrote, regarding the Food Network alum: "Fantastic!! I look forward to seeing more of her." Another added, in a recent thread: "Wow that’s awesome! I love me some Drew and Val!" An additional user commented: "Oh, this is a great idea and good fit on Drew’s show!" Someone else concurred, noting: "Congratulations to Valerie!!! What fun this will be!"

Earlier this summer, Bertinelli chatted with People about joining Barrymore’s cohort of talent. "I'm going to be a part of The Drew Barrymore Show. I'm going to be part of Drew Crew, and I'm super excited about that,” the mom of one dished to the outlet.

Over the years, both the 50 First Dates star, 49, and the One Day at a Time alum have won the hearts of their fans by candidly revealing their sincere experiences, both on their shows and through social media channels.

“I absolutely adore her," Bertinelli went on, regarding Barrymore. She added: "And all the people that work there are so flippin' cool." Bertinelli, whose nine-year tenure with Food Network concluded in January, shared with the magazine that her summer has been "busy" as she manages her forthcoming ventures.

In April, during the fourth season of The Drew Barrymore Show, Bertinelli  memorably graced the stage with a remarkable presence. Prior to the segment's filming, she made her first public appearance with her boyfriend, Mike Goodnough, as many fans may recall. Engaging in a heartfelt conversation, she discussed themes of love and delved into her cookbook, Indulge, with both Barrymore and RuPaul's Drag Race judge, Ross Matthews.  

“I'll be going to New York a lot to hang out with Drew and see where that takes me,” Bertinelli also shared with People.

The much-anticipated fifth season of the Emmy award-winning series debuts on September 9th, showcasing host Barrymore alongside Matthews, 44, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, entertainment journalist Zanna Roberts Rassi, and others.
