Valerie Bertinelli is continuing to wow fans with her slimmed-down appearance, after initially shedding 10 lbs by doing Dry January in 2023.
The Indulge cookbook author may not be doing Dry January anymore, and has confessed that her weight has fluctuated since then, but she has noted how much her weight and mental health are positively affected when she cuts back on alcohol.
Valerie Bertinelli Shows Off Her Weight Loss At Cookbook Event
The Valerie's Home Cooking star showed off the results of her weight loss journey in various Instagram pictures and videos from an April 9th Warwick's Books event that she attended to promote her new cookbook.
Valerie flaunted her slimmed-down appearance at the event, wearing a blue and white vertical striped shirt and a pair of dark slim-fit slacks. She also teased her fans with a glimpse of her look in an Instagram Story prior to the event. "I am currently in bumper to bumper traffic. I am driving to San Diego for an event this evening at 7pm, right now my GPS says I will get there at 6:27pm. Hmmm, keeping my fingers crossed that I get there on time," she said in the video.
She did indeed get there in time, as in another clip, she said: "I am in San Diego, I made it through the traffic, and everyone is here. Thank you all for coming."

What Did Valerie Bertinelli Say About Cutting Back On Alcohol?
Earlier this month, Valerie told People that cutting back on alcohol has actually been quite easy for her. And if she does ever want some alcohol, she won't deny herself.
"I'm actually shocked at how hard it's not," Valerie told People in an interview which was published earlier this month. "Because for a long time, I leaned on it. Right now, I love how I feel more than how the alcohol makes me feel. I found that I do naturally hum at happy."
"I don't need anything to amplify my happiness right now," she continued, adding: "I feel high just on life. I recently went out to dinner with a friend, and I had ginger ale in a wine glass. And it felt like I was celebrating." But if she does ever want a glass of wine or a cocktail? "If I really, really want to have a drink, I will," she stated.
