While most people were celebrating July 4th with friends, fireworks, and barbecues, Vanessa Hudgens rang in the national holiday with some sultry photos from her latest magazine shoot. The magazine, Tatler Philippines, interviewed the Tick, Tick…Boom! actress about her heritage and discussed her role as the country’s tourism global ambassador. Vanessa shared photos from the shoot to her Instagram. We particularly love the gorgeous pic of the superstar on the beach in nothing but a wrap skirt and a hat!

Vanessa, who recently got engaged to boyfriend and Major League Baseball shortstop Cole Tucker, shared a carousel of images from the shoot to her Instagram. The first image showed the actress wearing a breezy, gray Hannah Adrias sarong. It hung low on her waist. Vanessa opted to go topless for the photo and instead covered her chest with her arms.

For accessories, the High School Musical star donned a tan Dennis Lustico straw hat. She also wore a necklace from Jewelmer, a Tiffany & Co cuff on her wrist, and a simple pair of diamond stud earrings. Vanessa had a stylish black and white manicure for the pic. She styled her black hair in loose waves, parted down the middle. Her makeup consisted of full lashes, pink eyeshadow, thick brows, rosy cheeks, and a pink lip gloss.

Tatler's July issue with Vanessa also had her in four other outfits. The cover had the star in a off-white two-piece set from Vania Romoff that featured ruffled designs and pearl embellishments. In another photo, she wore a pink, tulle top from Dennis Lustico, black high-waisted bikini bottoms, and more Jewelmer jewelry.

Another jaw-dropping photo of Vanessa that we adore is her in a skimpy, black string bikini from Boom Sason with an ultra-sheer Patty Ang dress. She recently wore another epic bikini in the Philippines: a 90s-inspired floral set. And, finally, the celebrity also wore a white Rajo Laurel crochet dress with little underneath. She accessorized with earrings from Riqueza and a Tiffany & Co cuff.

"Our July issue celebrates Filipinos breaking boundaries and making their presence felt in their respective fields. Headlining this issue is the Hollywood superstar Vanessa Hudgens, whose journey to stardom started in 2006 when she had her big break playing the lead character, Gabriela Montez, in the hit TV film series High School Musical," Tatler wrote in their Instagram caption. "Her meteoric rise to fame was unstoppable, continuing over the years with more top-rated projects such as Netflix’s rom-com trilogy, The Princess Switch and the 2021 American biographical musical film Tick, Tick... Boom!, and most recently, the provocative supernatural documentary, Dead Hot: Season of the Witch. Her phenomenal success in the international entertainment scene has brought so much pride and joy to many Filipinos worldwide."

"This year, [Vanessa] took on one of her most significant roles as the Philippines' global tourism ambassador. In that capacity, she is set to promote the country's rich culture and beautiful destinations to the world using her voice and platform," Tatler added. "She will also star in a yet-to-be-named travel documentary shot in the Philippines by the prolific filmmaker and Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications Secretary Paul Soriano."

With her mother, Gina Guanco Hudgens, and her sister, Stella, Vanessa explored the idyllic island paradise of El Nido with the magazine for her interview. The actress summed up her experience by saying, "It's got a bit of everything. It's got a metropolitan city. It's got paradise. It's beautiful and eye-opening. From early morning hikes to sunset cocktails and karaoke, and catamaran rides...It's got kindness. Everybody is warm and friendly. The people here are unique. I haven't met anyone who seems to be having a bad day. The hospitality is unmatched. It's a magical place."

"I feel like my time here has been incredible and special, but I need more time. The country is so big, and it has so much to offer...I can't wait to come back," Vanessa added. Her father, who passed away in 2016, was of Irish, French and Native American descent, while her mother is Filipina, a native of the island of Mindanao.
