The Venice Film Festival has been an absolute feast for fashion lovers! From Hollywood heavyweights to fresh-faced rising stars, everyone brought their A-game to the red carpet, making it nearly impossible to spot a fashion faux pas.

This year’s festival was all about bold, skin-baring styles with intricate cuts and daring designs that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

With so many stunning outfits, we’ve handpicked three of our favorite looks that were so daring, we’re amazed there weren’t any wardrobe malfunctions!

Cate Blanchett

Famous for her signature blazers and pantsuits, Cate Blanchett brought a touch of sparkle to her classic two-piece look at a Saturday night dinner hosted by Armani Beauty during the festival.

Dressed in Armani Privé, the Borderlands star wowed in a daring halterneck top made of intricately beaded strings that draped gracefully down her shoulders and chest from an embellished turtleneck. The center of the top daringly exposed her midriff and bust, but of course, only Cate could pull it off without a hitch.

She paired the top with high-rise black velvet pants featuring wide flares, pointed black heels, and styled her blonde lob in soft, loose waves.

Jenna Ortega

The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast has been making waves with their striking all-black outfits during the film's promotion. While everyone embraced the dark and moody vibe, Jenna Ortega took a different route on the Venice red carpet, stepping away from the black but still delivering an unforgettable look that stayed true to the theme.

The Wednesday star stole the show in a custom red Christian Dior dress that paid homage to the iconic red wedding dress worn by Winona Ryder’s character, Lydia, in the original Beetlejuice. Her dress featured a sheer tulle skirt that revealed high-waisted red briefs underneath, while the heart-shaped bodice with ruffles provided just the right amount of coverage. Ultra-thin clear straps left her back and sides daringly exposed, adding a bold and modern twist to the look.

Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski is well-known for her daring fashion choices, and she didn't disappoint at the film festival.

Attending the Battlefield premiere in Italy, the mother of one turned heads in a figure-hugging lime green vintage Gucci dress.

The standout feature of the dress was its daringly low-cut V-neckline, which flirted with the edge of a wardrobe mishap, but EmRata, being the queen of effortlessly pulling off bold looks, handled it flawlessly. The glamorous gown also boasted layered, pleated detailing on the skirt, with flowing fringed tassels that elegantly swept the floor.
