Victoria Beckham just graced the cover of Allure‘s December 2023 issue and spoke about her experience with plastic surgery, as well as her desire to teach her 12-year-old daughter, Harper, about the significance of self-love and acceptance. The fashion designer, 49, emphasized the importance of natural beauty in the interview, and shared that she hasn’t discussed her past procedures with her daughter just yet.

In the cover story, Beckham reminisced about a moment when Harper revealed one of her insecurities. "[Yesterday Harper said,] 'I’ve got a gap in my teeth, Mummy. And I’ve got that little mole right here," the former Spice Girl told the outlet. "I'm like, 'That’s your lucky gap.'"
The style icon added: "And Cindy Crawford is a family friend, so I said, 'Cindy was told to remove her mole, and that mole is what makes Cindy, Cindy Crawford.""
According to Beckham, it was revealed that Harper was unaware of her mother's past breast augmentation, as "we're not there just yet." Beckham explained: "If I’m honest, I wish I’d never [gotten implants]. It was a moment in time, and I think I can share my experiences with her," she revealed, "But we’re not there just yet."

Since having her implants removed in 2014, Beckham has consistently expressed regret about ever altering her body. In 2017, Beckham penned a letter to her 18-year-old self that was published in British Vogue.
"Don’t mess with your boobs. All those years I denied it – stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got," she wrote.
The multi-hyphenate went on to say that Harper now has a strong inclination towards beauty and makeup.
While Beckham encourages her daughter's interests, she also wishes for her to acknowledge her innate and authentic beauty at the same time. "Harper is obsessed with makeup, obsessed with beauty," Beckham said.

Beckham, who shares four children (including Harper) with husband David Beckham, went on: "We were driving past her favorite makeup store, Space NK, the other day, and David [Beckham] said, ‘Oh, my goodness, your favorite store closed.'"
She continued: "It was so funny. She was like, 'No, it’s fine, daddy. Nobody panic. They’re just expanding.'"
Victoria and David Beckham are also parents to sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 18.
