Victoria Beckham has become renowned for her toned physique, and over the years she’s shared the different routines and tricks she uses to maintain her slim figure. The fashion designer just revealed the one thing she eats every morning that’s been a game changer: 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
In a 2021 Instagram story, the documentary star posted a picture of Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and said, “First thing I do every morning is 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar.” Keep reading to learn more about the benefits of ACV and what else Victoria does to keep her trim figure.
Victoria Beckham swears by apple cider vinegar
By starting her day with apple cider vinegar, Posh Spice is lowering her blood sugar and insulin levels, which in turn can help with weight loss. Studies also show that vinegar can increase feelings of fullness, which can aid in achieving a calorie deficit, one common tactic for weight loss. And Victoria isn’t the only celebrity that loves the simple remedy. Scarlett Johansson told Elle that she takes it for her skin, saying “it’s really healing!”
Victoria Beckham Opens Up About Her Dietary Habits And De-Bloat Regimen
Victoria Beckham is all about maintaining a strict diet as a way to help with keeping a toned figure. The 48-year-old says she incorporates fresh, whole foods into her daily menu. This approach, the singer said, is how she believes she can maximize the benefits to her body. "I eat lots of fresh fish, fresh vegetables and salads, as well as seeds and nuts," she told the Net-A-porter. "I am disciplined with my eating – that's how I find I get the most out of my body."
The mother-of-four also disclosed that she refrains from consuming excessive amounts of fruit, due to bloating.
The style icon went on: "My treat is a few glasses of red wine, and I also love tequila, and I do eat carbs. I have lots of avocado and really good fats, like salmon." Beckham noted: "With four children and a job, I work long hours and doing this works for me so I can give 100 percent."
Despite experiencing bloating from eating fruit, Victoria Beckham has an effective trick for countering this. She revels in a salt bath, and said that her 12-year-old daughter Harper often prepares an Epsom bath soak for her when she arrives home. "Harper often makes an Epsom bath soak for me when I get home from work," Beckham explained.
This technique is successful, many experts say, as bloat is commonly caused by water retention due to salt and carbs (which can be diminished by the magnesium content of Epsom salts).
Beckham isn't the only A-lister who likes this kind of bath, as Goop wellness aficionado Gwyneth Paltrow is also an avid fan. (Sounds like it's worth a try to beat bloating!)
