The Voice Fans Are Excited To See Reba McEntire & Niall Horan Interact In The Upcoming Season
Earlier this month, NBC shared a new clip that showed returning coaches Horan, Gwen Stefani and John Legend enjoying cake backstage and talking about the upcoming 24th season of the show.
“We all miss the cowboy, especially you,” Legend says to Stefani (referring to her husband Blake Shelton who left the show after 22 seasons) before joking that with Shelton’s absence that the three of them could “have a shot at the best country singers.” Horan then looks off in the distance, smiles and says, “nothing can ruin this.”
All of a sudden, sliding doors move to reveal McEntire in a sparkly get-up standing next to a huge sign that reads "Team Reba." "Well, hey there," she says to her fellow coaches with a smile.
Host Carson Daly is then seen eating cake and commenting, "Oh wow, this is going to be good." "It's just so good to be here!" McEntire exclaims before Horan is seen on a phone call saying: "I'm going to need some tear-away pants...and make them sparkly."
Fans headed to the Instagram post's comment section to share their thoughts: "This just cracked me up," one wrote as another added: "Love these guys. This is going to be good."

This also isn't the first time that the "I'm A Survivor" hitmaker and "This Town" crooner have made fans laugh with their playful dynamic. McEntire uploaded another video (that showed previews of The Voice‘s beloved ‘Blind Auditions’) in an Instagram post for her 2.4 million followers.
The four coaches are seen in it holding cardboard cutouts of McEntire’s signature red tresses. In another funny scene, the country superstar squirts ketchup onto tater tots before Horan jokes: "Reba’s tots are soggy." McEntire replies: "Off with his head!"
The Voice will return to our screens Monday, September 25, 2023 on NBC at 8/7c, and it will also be available for streaming the following day.
