This ‘Voice’ Promo Teaser Has Fans Going Crazy About Gwen Stefani’s Return To The Show

The announcement of Reba McEntire as a new coach for the upcoming season of The Voice has left fans ecstatic. Alongside the anticipation for McEntire’s arrival, the return of Gwen Stefani to the musical competition show has fans equally thrilled!

Stefani, as fans know, had previously coached and advised contestants on the show for seven and two seasons, respectively. She memorably emerged victorious in Season 19 with Carter Rubin.

However, this upcoming Season 24 marks a significant change for Stefani as she navigates coaching without her husband Blake Shelton as a fellow coach (he left the show this year after 23 seasons).

Last week, McEntire shared a new promotional clip that gave fans a glimpse of her comical workplace dynamic alongside Stefani and fellow returning coaches Niall Horan and John Legend. McEntire uploaded the video (that showed previews of The Voice‘s beloved ‘Blind Auditions’) in an Instagram post for her 2.4 million followers.

Fans headed to the upload’s comment section to share their excitement, and many were just as elated to see Stefani back as they were to see McEntire! “Love me some Gwen,” one wrote as another added: “sooo excited for Reba and loveee Niall!!” Someone else replied: “I cant wait. Going to be a great season.” One other concurred: “Gwen & Reba BEST COMBO EVER.”

In the video, Legend says: “We’ve got a Queen in the building, Reba is here!” Then, the camera zooms in on McEntire wearing a sparkly tiara before Horan hilariously dances around his chair while waving a wand in the air.

The clip then shows Stefani saying: “I’ve had two country hits,” (mentioning her singles “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere” with her husband, Shelton) before McEntire quips: “I’ve had more than two…” (McEntire has had 60 hits on the Billboard Music Charts, after all!)

Then, the foursome are seen holding cardboard cutouts of McEntire’s signature red tresses. In another funny scene, the country superstar squirts ketchup onto tater tots before Horan jokes: “Reba’s tots are soggy.” McEntire replies: “Off with his head!”

The Voice will return to our screens Monday, September 25, 2023 on NBC at 8/7c, and it will also be available for streaming the following day.
