Walmart Fans Rave Over $5 Candle Dupes That Smell ‘Exactly Like’ Viral $40 Capri Blue Volcano

The Capri Blue Volcano candle is all the rage right now because of its sugared citrus and tropical fruits scent and vibrant color, but many fans aren’t happy with the price. Thrifty TikTokers have found a solution: A Walmart dupe. A now-viral video on TikTok shows the $5 candle you can find at your local Walmart that has the same scent as the Capri Blue Volcano candle without the $40 price tag. Keep reading for more details.

TikToker @Jadyn.Carrillo found the dupe and posted a video about it on TikTok. “So worth it!” she captioned the video. Holding up the candle, which comes in a glass jar with the tropical themed label: Blue Lava, Jadyn said, “Yeah, I got my hands on the Blue Lava candle from Walmart!”

She went on to describe that these candles are flying off of shelves, and that when the Walmart employee brought out her pickup order, he told her that he had already brought out three of these exact candles and it was only 11am.

“All I’m going to say is, it is worth the $5 that I spent for this,” she continued. “It smells exactly like the Capri Blue Volcano candle. It smells so good!”
