Walmart Customer Goes Viral For Calling Out Their ‘Lying’ About Meat Weights On TikTok: ‘Be Warned People’

A growing number of TikTok users are accusing stores of misleading customers about the quantity of items they get for their money. Among the various retailers mentioned, Walmart frequently comes up in these discussions, as reported by The Daily Dot. The issue gained attention when one shopper on the social media platform noticed their Walmart smoked bacon weighed 5 ounces less than what the packaging claimed.
This prompted another TikTok user, Chad (@chads113), to investigate Walmart’s pricing himself. What he discovered was startling. In a video that has garnered over 843,000 views, Chad examines two packs of pork products at Walmart. Despite their strikingly similar appearance, which led Chad to initially think they were the same item, they are actually different products.
Both packs seem to have nearly the same weight, but there is a significant difference in price per pound: one is marked at $4.34 per pound, while the other is priced at $3.57 per pound. Chad points out that the latter pack indicates a weight of 4.33 pounds, resulting in a total price of $15.46. This is peculiar, given that the pack looks similar to the one listed at less than a pound.
