Walmart Just Made The Most Amazing Announcement EVER–We Can’t Believe It!

According to the company's press release, the bonuses will go to "hourly associates in stores, clubs, supply chain and offices, drivers, and assistant managers in stores and clubs."

Full-time hourly workers will receive $300, and part-time workers will receive $150. The bonuses will be paid on June 25.

This is not the first time the retailers have given bonuses during the coronavirus outbreak. On April 2, the retailers employees bonuses worth a combined $365 million. Additionally, on April 30, the retailer gave employees their quarterly bonuses (worth combined $180 million) early.

In a press release, John Furner, President and CEO of Walmart US, explained, "Walmart and Sam’s Club associates continue to do remarkable work, and it’s important we reward and appreciate them."

He continued, "All across the country, they’re providing Americans with the food, medicine and supplies they need, while going above and beyond the normal scope of their jobs – diligently sanitizing their facilities, making customers and members feel safe and welcome, and handling difficult situations with professionalism and grace."
