Walmart just announced that it will be paying associates $428 million more in bonuses amid the novel coronavirus outbreak!
The company announced via press release that it would be doling out another special cash bonus to all store, club, distribution center and fulfillment center employees during this unprecedented time. This is huge!

The box store released a lengthy statement to their corporate site on July 21st, outlining a plan to infuse some cash into the pockets of their hardworking employees.
The company revealed that it will give full-time hourly associates $300 and part-time hourly and temporary associates $150 on August 20th.

This will total approximately $428 million for the company, or when added to their earlier bonuses this year, a $1.1 billion in special pay-outs for 2020. All we can say is WOW!
The company shared that drivers, managers and assistant managers in all stores, clubs, DCs, FCs and Health & Wellness will also receive a bonus. Yippee!

“Our associates have been working at an incredible pace, they’ve solved problems, and they’ve set an amazing example for others,” John Furner, President and CEO of Walmart U.S., said in the statement.
"To further appreciate their incredible work, we are pleased to share another special cash bonus this summer."
