Walmart is doubling down on the power of TikTok!
The big box chain recently benefited from their own $15 sneaker going ‘viral’ on the platform, and announced on March 9th that it will host another livestream shopping event there!
The Arkansas-based chain announced via release last week the “Spring Shop-Along: Beauty Edition,” an hour-long livestream featuring TikTok creators and influencers.
The company had tested a similar event in December, which yielded positive results according to the release.
"During the event, we netted 7X more views than anticipated and grew our TikTok followers by 25%," chief marketing officer William White said.
