Have you noticed a change to pop superstar, Miley Cyrus’ Instagram icon? If so, it may have been due to the bright blue jumper covering her shoulders. Or maybe… the plunging neckline – where does it end.
Before we comment on the new ensemble, we’d love to point out that this bold and scandalous look is backed by an amazing message and worth while cause!
When announcing a charity concert, what’s a better way to gain attention (and dollars) than by showing a little excitement in a knock-out outfit. In one of Cyrus’ latest instagram posts, we can see her sporting a skin-tight, blue satin jumper with thigh-high boots (faux leather most likely). It was here that she scored the likes, and views into her announcement of performing a benefit concert for the bushfires of Australia. The country has been deeply impacted by devastating brush fires, and Cyrus is doing something about it! Performing in the city of Melbourne, Australia, each ticket proceed will go to aiding and benefiting the wildlife and lands that were touched in the fires.
Cyrus first felt a connection with the country of Australia while on tour around ten years ago. She performed in Melbourne, and the city reminded her of her home in Nashville – so needless to say she felt an instant bond. Between then and now, she had dated two Australian men (and even married one) – Liam Hemsworth and Cody Simpson. Within the last decade, Cyrus has made frequent stops to the ‘land down under’, and feels like it holds a special place in her heart.
The benefit concert will not only star Cyrus, but Grammy award winner Lil Nas X (who earlier last year collaborated with Cyrus’ father for the single “Old Town Road”), the Veronicas and DJ Seb Fontaine.
If you’re unable to make it to Cyrus’ concert in Melbourne, Australia – no worries! There’s still plenty of ways to help out the country and contribute to the cause. Charities like: Direct Relief, and Global Giving both have 4-star ratings and have been assisting in the wildfire crisis.
After you’re done donating to a good cause, crank up Miley Cyrus Spotify and rock a similar ensemble to her PR shoot. Check out some of the inspired looks below:
